Learn What Companies Actually Need

Most courses teach theory. We teach what finance teams actually use every day. Our curriculum comes from reviewing hundreds of real models used in Australian businesses.

You'll work through scenarios pulled from actual projects—building forecasts, running valuations, and creating dashboards that decision-makers can understand without a finance degree.

  • Twelve weeks of hands-on model building with weekly assignments
  • Work with datasets from real Australian companies
  • Learn troubleshooting techniques for when formulas break
  • Build a portfolio of models you can show potential employers

What You'll Actually Build

Each module focuses on one type of model. By the end, you'll have six complete models that solve real business problems.

Weeks 1-2

Three-Statement Model

Connect income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows. Learn why they need to balance and how to spot errors quickly.

Weeks 3-4

Revenue Forecasting

Build projections that account for seasonality, growth trends, and market conditions. Test assumptions and create scenarios.

Weeks 5-6

Valuation Basics

DCF models that actually work. Learn what discount rates mean, how to calculate them, and when different methods apply.

Weeks 7-8

Budget Planning

Create departmental budgets with variance tracking. Build models that update automatically when actuals come in.

Weeks 9-10

Scenario Analysis

Model best case, worst case, and everything in between. Learn sensitivity tables and Monte Carlo basics.

Weeks 11-12

Executive Dashboards

Turn complex models into clear visuals. Build dashboards that update automatically and highlight what matters.
